Academic Programs
The Remerge Institute offers academically rigorous programs delivered by collaborative and specialized instructors who are not only academically qualified but are also practitioners in their area of instruction.
Students take the 4 core courses (Theology of Sociality, Spiritual Practices and Discernment, Designing Community Solutions, Implementing Community Solutions) and choose two electives in either Church Leadership, Missions, Nonprofit Leadership, or Social Entrepreneurship.
Turning the love of God toward our neighbors in real-world communities, this Certificate is effective for any vocational pathway.
All courses in this Certificate are experiential in nature, allowing students to learn-by-doing in the place they are already serving.
Students will develop the skills and experience to walk with community stakeholders in order to exegete places, develop innovative human-centered solutions, and create sustainable strategies that drive change, all while building flourishing and welcoming communities.
This course is a deep-dive into understanding the world as God created it through His Word, how the fall resulted in poverty and how Christ calls us to be reconcilers. Learn how to exegete community and faithfully participate in reconciliation.
This is a cross-disciplinary course applying reconciliation thinking, human-centered design and systems strategies while working on a real problem, in a real community, to create a real solution.
One of the most challenging aspects of leadership is moving your organization through transformational change. In this course, you will learn the tools and mindsets required to lead your organization to a new place.
The Remerge Institute partners with Anderson University (Indiana) for students to attain academic credit. For students attending other higher-education institutions, you can earn credit through a transcript from Anderson University after completing their course.

• Provide current resume including professional experience, educational background, leadership roles, professional affiliations, honors, community service.
• Submit 3 letters of recommendation (academic, service/work, personal/character)
• Write a Statement of Purpose – No more than 1,500 words detailing your vocation/calling along with key influences, why you want to prepare for your calling through formal education, and what you will contribute to the learning community you will be a part of.
• Applicants may be required to participate in an interview.
