Professional Development Certificate in Community-Building

Students take the 4 core courses (Theology of Sociality, Spiritual Practices and Discernment, Designing Community Solutions, Implementing Community Solutions) and choose two electives in either Church Leadership, Missions, Nonprofit Leadership, or Social Entrepreneurship.

  • Turning the love of God toward our neighbors in real-world communities, this Certificate is effective for any vocational pathway.

  • All courses in this Certificate are experiential in nature, allowing students to learn-by-doing in the place they are already serving.

  • Students will develop the skills and experience to walk with community stakeholders in order to exegete places, develop innovative human-centered solutions, and create sustainable strategies that drive change, all while building flourishing and welcoming communities.
