Admission Overview

The Remerge Institute practices holistic admissions processes. This means we approach student admissions as an integrated and comprehensive whole. As we make admission decisions we will consider the students life-experiences, academic achievement, character and values, interests, and faith journey. Our desire is to enroll students from a variety of backgrounds, experiences, talents, and academic interests. Through the process we hope to understand how students will grow, thrive and contribute to the learning community and community they serve.

The Remerge Institute evaluate applicants in 4 different areas of focus on a 4-point scale (1-high potential, 2-good potential, 3-adequate potential, 4-marginal potential).

Character/Context – your unique circumstances (background, educational journey, work, family responsibilities) and the way you have navigated those circumstances (authenticity, courage, honesty, humility, collaboration).

Academic Excellence – your academic journey and academic record. We are not interested in simply the bottom line numbers alone, but how well you have tried to prepare yourself for this next step in your education.

Intellectual Vitality – your genuine interest in expanding your intellectual horizons through curiosity and humility. What initiative have you taken to  seek out opportunities to expand your understanding.

Extracurricular Activities – not the number of experiences, but the depth of them including work or family responsibilities. What was your impact on these activities and their impact on you.
